Hey everyone, after awhile of conversing with my teammates and having concepts come and go. I thought I would do the smart thing and let the community help out with its direct opinion. Here you'll post suggestions, and we may post our ideas on here for you to vote on/discuss. I decided this after a little light reading of the INS: Classic suggestion thread and the INSmod forums.
I looked around and found a few ideas that stuck out (meaning they seemed to repeat quite a few times or were topics of heavy discussion). So let me make sure I grasp what you guys want.
Am I missing anything? Post your suggestions for INS:R below.
======New Stuff======
Accepted:
Mortars
M203 smoke
Humvee and truck both with and w/out 50.cal mount
'bullet drop'
More game modes
More classes
More weapons
Bigger more detailed maps
PR style spawning mechanics
New VGUI and HUD
Rpg drop better explosion

Denied
Cod shit
Scrapped ideas
Silencers
Molotovs
New ideas
New per-class optics, examples.
Rifleman: Aperture, Red Dot, 1.5x ACOG
Engineer/Sapper: Ghost Ring, Post and Blade, Bead
Sergant(*removes vert grip): Aperture and *Red Dot
Submachine Guns for Engineer/Sapper
SMGs would do similar range and damage to the pistol, with burst and/or full auto options. It would be an alternate to the shotguns.
Engineer: MP5A4
Sapper: Uzi
Skorpion vz.61 for RPG class
This would be a less accurate, yet fully automatic alternative to the pistol. You can only carry 3 or 4 clips.
Heavy Machine Guns for defensive support classes
M240
Slower running and sprinting speed
Higher damage than m249
Higher recoil than m249
PKM
Higher ammunition capacity than RPK
Lower damage
Slower running and sprinting speed
Real Grenade Fragmentation
A thread was recently posted about frag grenades working like they do in reality, actually shooting fragments in all directions. This would keep people from surviving grenades close range.
Grenade Throwback
I was thinking CoD style nade throwback would counteract real fragmentation.
